Description

Easy charcuterie with all the classics – olives, cheddar, ham, salami, pretzel chips, soft pretzels, and some melta toast

Ingredients

Scale
  • 6oz of cheddar cheese
  • 1 round cheese of choice – try a soft cheese such as brie with nuts (shown in video) or any other round block of cheese you like.
  • 8oz of your choice of deli meat: salami, ham, prosciutto
  • 46 meat sticks, cut in half
  • handful of olives
  • handful of gooseberries (or small cherry tomatoes)
  • melba toast
  • crackers
  • pretzel chips
  • 68 small soft pretzels
  • brie, cut into small wedges
  • optional garnishing of rosemary sprigs
  • optional garnishing of bluerries

Instructions

  1. Start with the center and work your way outwards toward the perimeter of your charcuterie board. Place the round gouda cheese directly in the center.
  2. Arrange main items in a straight line outwards (instead of in a circular fashion). Roll salami into roses by overlapping two pieces together and rolling them – hold the shape with a toothpick. Arrange 6-9 of them in a straight line outwards at 2 and 10 o’clock.
  3. Arrange meat sticks at 12 o’ clock
  4. Arrange the soft pretzels at 4 and 7 o’ clock
  5. Arrange the brie and cheddar at 6 o’ clock
  6. Fill in the spaces with other small items such as olives, gooseberries and blueberries.
  7. The outermost layer will be melba toast and crackers.
